Oh, to be young and carefree.....

I receive much joy watching my son enjoy life. Yes, to see him smile is priceless. But, I think my son has some idea that there is one of these growing in our backyard............

Well, at 15 he relies on us quite a bit. So, this weekend I went for broke....

$40 on Thursday for Festival

$20 on Friday for the football game/dinner after

$120 for new shoes on Saturday

$60 for the Festival and area Haunted House

then, if that wasn't enough.............

$140 down payment on a trip to Gettysburg ($800 total) with the History Club needed on Monday (a little notice would have been better)!

Ok, I went for broke (there went my little "stash of camera cash" for a DSLR I've been saving up for).

But, when I see the fun times and memories he is gathering, I keep reminding myself.....it is WELL worth it. I'm just kinda wishing there really were one of those growing out back!
