Well, I know I posted a while a go about where my son was interested in attending college. Well, he made his decision and started attending as soon as he got out of high school.
He was Ann Arbor bound on June 26th, my birthday!
The best present ever for this proud momma!!!
Here is one excited University of Michigan freshman!!

In front of his dorm. This is such a nice dormatory and one usually reserved for upper classman. But, for the summer, they let the new freshman use it for the Summer Bridge Program. The program helped him transition from a SMALL high school environment to a large college environment. He was so glad he did this, as it has prepared him for what is expected at U of M.

This was in front of the football stadium.

A picture of the new 100 ft scoreboard. My son has season tickets for all the games and said this scoreboard is awesome!
So far so good with my son at Michigan! He is loving it, but truly learning the commitment needed to being sucessful at Michigan. I really don't think his high school prepared him for what was in store. I know he will find his way. I will say it has been a harder transition for me, as he is my one and only child. I text or call him daily, as it helps me to know he is doing alright.
I am just so very thankful he has this opportunity to help him prepare for life.
He is coming home in 10 days for Thanksgiving break, and it cannot come soon enough for this Mom :)
